Tuesday 7th September – walk ***** – Sunrise Felixstowe prom walk –
sunny and hot.
With wall to wall sunshine and temperatures peaking at 30 degrees it was a
good day to get up early and head down to the seafront to catch the sunrise
which was due at 6.20:) Mag and I were down on the prom about 6 with a few
open water swimmers, dog walkers and some cyclist all enjoying the best
part of the day as well as 3 other photographers with the same idea! There
was a bank of haze which slightly delayed the sun so we sat just the other
side of the pier to wait and were not disappointed:) I got a section of
nice shots before continuing on to the end of the prom at the Manor end.
The haze was still there as a ferry and container ship entered the River
Orwell but were a blurred vision in the haze! With the sea like a mill pool
it was nice to see paddle boarders and swimmers enjoying near perfect
conditions. Then home to sort my pics out posting them on several local
Facebook sites, getting some lovely comments, I also sent a few to the TV
weather but sadly none were used today:( Had a video call from our son this
morning as the Grandson is having first taster day ay school, just can’t
believe it, where have those years gone! Breakfast, exercises in the garden
then visit an old friend this afternoon with fingers crossed we get a
foiling breeze tomorrow, another hot day before things state to cool off a
little!
